• Replace if the original tape is torn, flattened, missing, or contaminated

• Disconnect power and shut off gas/water as applicable; allow the appliance to cool before service
• Note the original tape placement; remove old material and residue, then clean and dry surfaces
• Apply per the service manual; avoid stretching; press evenly to ensure full contact
• If the OEM procedure calls for trimming, cut carefully to length and avoid gaps or overlaps
