Once I got the part, it was a simple matter to push the flexible rubber hose through the bracket which held the hose securely and directed the water into the basin of the sink. This part never came with the GE product.

I had the problem couple years ago I bypassed unbalance switch it worked fine for a couple years and had the same problem again so ruled out unbalanced switch. Door lock light on and checked made sure wax motor pushed out all the way too the second switch for spin check OK, so took a chance on displacement switch x2. My family loves to over load it and also replaced by passed unbalance switch and boom every thing went back to normal. Its also good to clean every thing when apart.
