Ordered a kit with new belt, rollers and idler pulley. Used instructions in kit, YouTube videos and instructions I found under the console of the dryer. Found that the idler pulley had frozen and that the belt was nearly worn through. Repair it self was not difficult. The problem I had was in hooking the new belt around the idler pulley. Replaced the signal switch and it fixed the problem. The signal switch also sends a signal to the motor driving the timer switch to turn off at end of cycle. My signal switch was defective; upon replacement dryer now works fine. The part costs were 45 dollars and time to replace was about 30 min. Figured I saved about $130 bucks vs. a technician coming over to fix.
