My son took the old fill hose and vacuum break off the washer and came to the computer to appliancepartspros.com to order the parts, I went to the laundromat. Three days later the correct parts were here. The next day, because the parts were so easy to find on the web site pictures, my son put them on and by evening, I had washed again. Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!)
