Found the motor switch was fried. So replaced that and the capacitor. Starts fine now.

Found that when I "jumped" the hi limit thermostat the gas valve operated.
So just went ahead and
R/R the Hi limit thermostat, thermo-fuse, and the cycling thermostat.
No problems.
