The Run Capacitor is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It helps maintain a consistent electrical current to the compressor, ensuring efficient operation and optimal cooling performance.
Causes of a bad run capacitor can include electrical surges, prolonged use leading to wear and tear, or physical damage. A failing capacitor can lead to the compressor running inefficiently or not at all, affecting the refrigerator's ability to maintain the desired temperature.
Symptoms of a bad run capacitor include:
- The refrigerator not cooling properly
- The compressor not starting or running inconsistently
- Clicking sounds coming from the refrigerator
- The refrigerator cycling on and off frequently
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

The shaft inside the lock assembly broke when someone forced the key Ronald N. • San Jose , CA • May 01, 2015
Replace the lock assembly: Open the lid and remove four philips screws from underneath the gasket. Carefully and patiently remove all of the gasket clips, first from the left and right sides then remove all but two from the top so when the final one comes out the panel and gasket can come towards you and then set gently in the top of the freezer. Remove the wires from the bulb in the center so they won't be in the way. Remove the large fiberglass rectangle and set it on top of the panel. Use a...

During delivery, the bottom front grill of my new freezer got broken. George N. • Lancaster , PA • April 04, 2014
Having used AppliancePartsPros.com once before, I jumped on the retailer's proposal to knock 10% off the freezer price if I accepted the delivery with the broken grill.
I turned on my computer, looked up the part, ordered it, and there it was 3 or 4 days later at my door. Two minutes later, the new grill was securely screwed to my freezer and I even saved a few dollars on the deal, even if I charged for my own time!

Broken security door lock on upright freezer David R. • Pioneer , CA • December 10, 2018
The square shaft was broken off in the recessed hole of the freezer door lock and would not allow the key to engage it to turn and lock the freezer door. R and R of door lock assy was necessary but not easy-it was accessed through a 1/2" X 1.5" slot in the inner ledge of the door that the hook from the lock protruded through to lock the door. I removed the lock retaining clip through the slot, slid the lock assy out, replaced it with the new assy and replaced the clip. All with curved...
