The Mounting Bolts are OEM parts compatible with GE microwaves. These bolts play a vital role in securely attaching the microwave to the mounting bracket or wall, ensuring stability and safe operation.
The causes of faulty mounting bolts can vary. Over time, constant use and vibrations can loosen the bolts, compromising the stability of the microwave. Additionally, improper installation or overtightening can lead to stripped or damaged threads.
Symptoms of bad mounting bolts may include:
- Microwave wobbling or sagging from its mount.
- Unusual noises or vibrations during operation.
- Visible signs of loose or missing bolts.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Removed microwave to add new backsplash. Original bolts got thrown out evidently. Mary D. • West Chester , PA • March 14, 2014
I refused to purchase the entire installation kit from GE for about $70, then throw out all parts except the bolts we needed. After searching the web all weekend, I found what we needed on AppliancePartsPro.com. I ordered it on a Sunday evening and we had our bolts on Tuesday. I was amazed to have finally found just what I wanted and to have them arrive so fast. This website is now bookmarked on our computer. So happy to have everything in place again.

Wifey says microwave is sparking and sparking! Phil V. • Belton , TX • December 20, 2014
Followed the suggestions and washed off the wave guide cover first (it had some food soil on it). Put it back on and tried operating the microwave with nothing in it. Got a real big spark then. Discovered that there were some areas on the door that had paint scraped off. Looked like the power was all directed to this bare metal area causing the mica wave guide cover to really scorch then, with nothing else inside the microwave to absorb the energy.
So I got some black appliance paint and...

No power two out of three thermo devices were bad Robert U. • Montclair , NJ • October 02, 2015
With no power in the unit I started to investigate. I removed the power cord and checked the supply. Then I removed a few panels from the unit.
The parts are readily accessible and the wiring diagrams on the computer are very helpful.
I removed the wires from each device and the probed the devices.
I ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros online and they shipped the parts in less than one day!

Turntable and fan turned on when the oven door was opened Kurt K. • Seattle , WA • October 06, 2018
If you search for this issue online, you’ll see this is caused by a faulty door switch - the primary interlock micro switch (with the red button). This switch is at the lowest position in the bracket that holds the switches.
The hardest part for me was pulling the cover off. Two screws on one side of the black cover, one on the other side and several screws in back. The cover slides back. The switches are clearly visible on the right hand side. The white door paddle presses on the switch...

Microwave would not heat but had power Wilbur C. • Washington , DC • December 16, 2017
14 year old GE Profile microwave wouldn't heat, but had power. Read reviews here. Ordered triumvirate of magnetron, capacitor, & diode. Was hoping not to need the capacitor as this was an expensive part; and if not needed to return to AppliancePartsPros, which has been SOP.
After watching a couple YouTube videos of microwave capacitors being shorted, I made a capacitor discharge tool ordering 24W 100K Ohm resistor and high voltage test wires w/ alligator clips from amazon. At the same time,...
