I found that the Ice Maker in my GE side by side made ice but would not kick out the ice when it had formed, the heating element or the switch that controls it didn't work. I ordered a new ice maker switched it out took less than 3 minutes. The cord was very stiff and just long enough but I got it to connect and in 35-40 minutes I had fresh ICE!!

Changed the Frigidaire Icemaker Fill Tube Part # 241796405 (AP5671747) about a week ago and so far the Frigidaire Refrigerator seems to work fine. Did not use other ordered parts. Well I got a perfectly good older GE fridge from some friends that bought a house that had this fridge in it. they took the doors off and hinges and were going to throw it away and my wife don't throw it away we'll take it! so they gave it to my wife and had lost one of the hinges and a few screws. so I cleaned it up ordered the screws that I needed found a hinge ( it was discontinued ) and put it together and now we have a perfectly good 2nd fridge!
