Stove downdraft stopped working Robert B. • Gaithersburg , MD • March 08, 2016
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business.

Jennair downdraft/inner glass had shattered Jennifer W. • Medford Lakes , NJ • October 23, 2015
I ordered a Window Pac and a new oven door seal for this project. Our oven is 25+ years old and still works...I wasn't sure how easy or hard this would be, so initially I delayed ordering these parts for three weeks! I read up on 'how to' approach taking the door apart...and once I put two large nails in each hole on the door hinge, I was confident I could do this. As another reviewer wrote, the only tool you need is a phillips head screwdriver. I wore my headlamp flashlight so I could easily...
