First I did some diagnostics -- took everything apart and did remedial trouble-shooting. I used the diagnostic manual (bought on ebay through a manual vendor) to trouble shoot the "appears to be dead" problem. Couldn't figure out the problem. I initially thought the unit was dead as I only tried the start/stop/cancel buttons. Removed the screws,took off old front panel and replaced it with the new panel. Only took about 30 minutes to complete. It took about 15 minutes to find the right size screw driver. Read more
