Ordered 2 replacement elements. Then performed the following:
1. Shut off power to cooktop (IMPORTANT)
2. Remove the brackets holding cooktop in. (under counter, I had 2)
3. Push up cooktop from under counter, you will need to lift cooktop about 3 inches from counter top. I used 2 furring strips to hold cooktop up.
4. Remove the philips head screws holding the glass top on. I had 10, 2 on each side, 3 front and rear.
5. Carefully work the glass cooktop loose from its base. Dont use...

I took the broken one off to see what all i'd need. Looked up the model no.,(which on this particular one was a bit of a fiasco per the manufacturer). Ordered it even though it was listed "out of stock'. It took less than two weeks to receive and was the exact one I had hoped. Installed it the same way it came off, dropped it back in place, turned the breaker on, and it seems to work perfectly.
