The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Let me first say that I did not intend to fix this microwave due to the age, however there are literally zero new microwaves that are small enough (height and depth) to fit. After uninstalling microwave I tried simply replacing the fuse hoping that it just got tired after 21 years of service. Upon testing the fuse blew about 2 seconds after pressing start.
