Roadie February 04, 2014 for Model Number PRSG364GD I have a 20+ year old Thermador gas range. When I have had to remove the Ventury tubes to get below the drip pans and perform repairs I have found them to have seized to the jet holders. Would some pipe dope or never seize prevent this? Also, when this happens. The supply tube becomes severed. Is any type of sealant required where the tube meets the jet holder ?
1 Answer Hello Roadie. No, sealant is no needed due to flare fittings. Also, it is not advised by the manufacturer to use pipe dope or anti-seize on the units. Read More...
Ted February 03, 2014 for Model Number PRSE364GLS series#96070016 Yesterday, the rear two burners sparks on-off non stop (all control knobs are in "OFF" position.) I had to shut off power to stop the sparks. After I turned back on power, the sparks stopped. The right two burners works fine, but two left burners are not working anymore: no sparks and no gas. Is this caused by Control Unit AP3672574 bad, or some fuse is out? Please advise.
1 Answer Hello Ted, This sounds like a combination of the solenoid 00411253 and the simmer control kit 00497234. The simmer control kit includes two potentiometers. Read More...

Rick C. November 10, 2012 for Model Number PRSE304/48 I have a Thermador PRSE304/48 range, I am having a problem with the broiler in the smaller proofing oven. It does not come on. Both element do however come on when the oven is switched on,the oven works fine. When I push the broiler button no heating light comes on the manual says it should. I would be grateful with any trouble shooting help. Thanks.
1 Answer Hi. If the broil element part # 00367645 comes on when the oven is on, the oven controls uses both elements during preheat to get the oven up to an even temperature faster. This tells me that the element, wires and connections are good. However the 5-button switch, the prof. relay are no longer available. Thank You. Read More...
