Brandon February 29, 2016 I have a Bosch dishwasher and there seems to not be a lot of water pressure coming out of the arms. In fact it never makes it to the top arm. And there is a strange noise during different cycles but i am not able to tell during what cycle. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be.
1 Answer Hello Brandon. Clean the filters and make sure the water level is good inside the unit. Also, make sure none of the spray arms are cracked on the ends of them. If all is good, then the circulation motor will need to be replaced. Read More...
Roz October 08, 2015 for Model Number SGS3062GB/02 Hi there. My dishwasher doesn't fill anymore, I can hear water but it doesn't get to the dishes. It hasn't been moved or anything so I'm wondering is it the water inlet valve? Any advice would be appreciated.
1 Answer Roz, If there is no water getting into the unit but getting power to the water valve then yes the water valve would be the issue. Read More...
David March 05, 2015 for Model Number SHU5316 UC/06 My Bosch DW has an internal water leak, and I believe it may be coming from the unit's "Pressure Chamber." Before I order this part, could you kindly tell me whether the Pressure Chamber you sell comes with new float and water fill (viz., water level) switches, or whether these switches must be purchased separately? (I note that the switches are sold separately on your website.) I'm not sure if my machine's problem lies in the pressure chamber itself or in one of these two switches. Thanks for taking time to answer this question. David
1 Answer Hello David, This is usually caused by a failing water inlet valve. This prevents the water to enter at full pressure and it will cause a dribble from the pressure chamber, putting water in the main base and causing the flood switch to be activated. Remove the water from the main base and replace the water valve 00425458 and the issue will be corrected. Read More...
Mark January 17, 2015 for Model Number SHV66A03 UC/14 (FD 8301-) The dishwasher door stopped latching and there were no lights on the display screen. My brother had the same unit but the door broke and he saved the electronics in the door. without taking my units out of the door I unplugged them and plugged his units in(module-latch-on off switch) his display lit and the dishwasher was working. I then unplugged them and disassembled the parts from my door. I installed his parts into my door. When I was done the same problem occurred. What could be the problem and do you carry the part? Thanks, Mark
1 Answer Mark, You will want to check the wiring in the unit as this would be the most likely cause for the unit not operating. Also check the door strike to make sure that it is meeting up with latch properly. Read More...
Malcolm January 12, 2015 for Model Number Sgs3062GB/02 My machine currently has a timer switch fault, it's getting stuck at the 6o clock position but in spite of that the machine appears to wash and dry everything. The machine runs constantly making a humming noise and it sounds like it's pumping out but quitely .thats after its finished. What would cause this to happen?
1 Answer Hello Malcolm. Look for a stuck float in the bottom of the unit or a small water leak. Either will cause the drain pump to continue to run. Read More...
Lori August 31, 2014 for Model Number SHX46A05uc/40 My dishwasher is working on and off. Sometimes when it first starts I hear the water run in and then it stops and won't drain out. Sometimes it will run fine and then when the soap door opens up it stops. We changed the Pressure chamber and it worked fine a couple of times and now it will fill and then stop. Could it be that we need a drain pump? The dishwasher is 8 years old, is it time for a new one thanks for your help
1 Answer Lori, If the unit is not draining then you will want to check to see if the drain is getting 120 vac to it. If it is then the issue will be with the drain pump. Read More...
Lori August 12, 2014 for Model Number shx46a05uc/40 during the cycle the soap dispensor opens and then the cycle stops, when I open the door and find the soap still inside the open dispensor I shut the main door and it starts to sound like it will work but then makes a little clicking noise. I have recently replaced the control panel and it worked fine for a couple of months now I am having the same problem. It does work fine sometimes, i am stumped.
1 Answer Lori, Based on the problem description the most likely cause for the failure is the control module part number [AP444741]. Read More...
Elizabeth July 05, 2014 for Model Number Bosch - I think the model number is SIOR6B Water is flowing out from what appears to be an overflow hole at the top of the inlet/ outlet chamber, attached to the the pressure chamber, flooding the internal dishwasher tray. Mike March 17, 2014 for Model Number Shx43c05uc/50 My dishwasher keeps overfilling , I replaced the pressure chamber and tested fill cycle it worked fine 3 times and then started overfilling again.
1 Answer Hello Mike, This is most likely the water valve 00607335 but the control 00676967 can cause it since the unit fills on a timed basis. Read More...
David N. January 11, 2014 for Model Number bosch shu5315uc/u12 Our dishwasher started making a continuous growling noise. The noise continues if you open the door. It continues when power is cut at the circuit breaker. The only thing that stopped it was cutting the water to the unit and then tuning it back on. I suspect that there is build up in the water inlet valve. Does this make sense?
1 Answer Hello David, This sounds like the water inlet valve 00425458 is defective. Whether there is a build-up inside it is debatable but it has definitely got a problem. Read More...
