1 Answer Leonard, Check to make sure that the damper door is opening and closing properly by removing the cover on over the damper and turning off the thermostat. Herbert January 12, 2017 for Model Number ffhs2611lw7 My ice maker will not crush ice, it will put out cubes. A white piece of the round plastic drum or wheel broke. Is this the actuator. Is it hard to replace.
1 Answer Herbert, This will be the ice auger drum and is part number 241685101. To get this off you will need to remove the front cover and the blades. You will want to make sure that when you remove the blades you remove them one at a time and lay them and the washers out the same way they come off. Read More...
