This agitator is a genuine Frigidaire part, sold individually. This agitator can be used as a replacement part for a washing machine or a washer/dryer combination appliance. This part rotates within the tub of the washing machine so that clothes and other items are tumbled around and fully cleaned. If an agitator has been subject to damage at some point in the standard lifespan of a washing machine, symptoms of damage will manifest in the form of a washing machine that will not agitate in a normal laundry cycle. If this is occurring, the agitator should be inspected for visible signs of damage, including punctures, scrapes, tears, and erosion to the material that could preclude it from serving its function. If the agitator seems damaged upon assessment, it should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part before using the washing machine again. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This agitator is compatible with the following appliance brands: Frigidaire, Kenmore, Gibson, and Kelvinator.

Brian A. C for Model Number 417.99570150 Serial # XE81990475

MY agitator does not have the bleach dispenser on the top. It does have one small cap on top the simply screws off. The agitator then has a small nut that is even with the top of the plastic agitator. You can not remove the nut directly and it probably is left treaded. The thing I am concrned about is on the between the agitator fins about 1/3 of the way up is a small hole for access with a small allen wrench I believe. I need to know what to do to remove this agitator. My repair manual show an agitator with the bleach dispenser on the top and not the side of the appliance. Please help

Brian, This agitator has a double ended stud. The screw that the cap came off on screws down into the top of the agitator shaft to hold the agitator in place. If the nut is still on the agitator side you will want to remove this to take the agitator off. if there is not a stud for the cap to screw onto then you will want to look inside the cap to see if it broke off. The part number for this stud is 131206800.
