Tim, Start at the Control Panel/Console 5304504659 / 5304504659. The ER code indicates an issue with the key pad switches in the console " ER/ER ..... Switch Failure". a failed or erratic circuit could produce intermittent inputs to the control board, causing the LED display lights to produce a false code indication.

Jim, You would test the control board at each connection in which you would be looking for 120 vac output for specific cycles. As for the keypad, there is no way to test this without a key chart which the manufacturer does not put on the tech sheet.

Hello Tom. Depending on the code, it sounds like the panel or the control board in the unit.

Hello Jeff, Turn off the power supply to the unit and verify the power is off. Turn the water supply off to the unit. Remove the kick panel and the water inlet hose connecting to the water valve. Remove the brass connector adaptor and retain it for use on the new water valve. remove the mounting screw/s used to mount the valve to the units' body. Remove the fill hose from the back of the water valve. Install the brass adaptor connector to the new water valve using Teflon tape on the threads, making sure not to allow any of the Teflon tape to get in the area of water flow. Reinstall the water fill hose the the rear of the water valve. Mount the water valve to the frame and reconnect the water supply line to the valve. Turn the water back on and check for leaks. If none is noted, turn power back on to the unit and start a cycle, watching under the unit for any signs of leaks. If none, reinstall the kick panel and the job is complete.

JMP, You will want to check to make sure that the control panel is not in child lock mode. How to exit would be in owners manual. If this checks ok then you want to check your ribbon harness connection at the control board to make sure that it has a good connection. If the connection is good then it may be a problem with the control board.

David for Model Number PLD4555RFC0

I have a flashing error code of "Er uo", I have tried to look them up on line and I found an "air vent open" malfuntion or "Membrane switch failure". I have pulled the circut breaker to try to reset the system, but still get the same error code when I try to start any wash cycle. I think I checked the air vent inside the dishwasher it was on the top and in the back of the dishwasher and it was in the normal closed position. So that lead me to the Membrane switch failure, is that the keypad and control? Could it be anything else basied on the error codes? What is the keypad part number I need for my model and is this something I can do or do I need a service man to do it?

Hello David. The code is for Vent will not close. If the vent is closed, then you will need to replace the vent 5304467317, the switch is bad.

Charles, At this point, no you don't need a service/repairman. The "PF' and the " Clean S" are both normal displays. "The CLEAN indicator is energized at the end of all wash cycles with the exception of a Rinse and hold cycle. The clean indicator will remain on until the door is opened. After the door is open, ALL indicators will be extinguished with the exception of the “Rinse aid low” if applicable. The SANITIZE indicator is shown in the front display as an “S” and will be energized at the end of any cycle that the Santi option has been selected. The sanitize criteria must be completed correctly for this indicator to come on. This indicator will be extinguished when the door is opened. The PF = Power failure = The control has experienced drop in power to the processor" That would be normal since you turned the power off to the dishwasher. Unless you forgot to mention something, basically all is OK. Thanks and Good Luck
