Jason November 28, 2011 for Model Number FDB126RBB2 The dishwasher will fill and drain but not spray water during the cycle. I think that the motor is out. I am getting voltage from the timer to the motor. My question is, Is there a float switch that prevents the motor from coming on, if so where is it located at?
1 Answer Hello Jason. No, if there is power to the motor, and it does not run, you will need to replace the motor 154859201. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ted September 05, 2011 for Model Number fdb126rbs2 I was not getting water. I check for blockage, their was none and water flowed freely form supply. I replaced inlet valve. Now I get water good in rinse and soak cycle but other cycles not sufficient for washing. Additional, items will take it through complete cycle but water does not spray inside. I do not think the arm is spinning to wash dishes and at end of cycle water is drained out but dishes never were washed?
1 Answer Hello Ted. You will need to test and see if there is power going to the motor. If so, and the motor does not run properly, you will need to replace the motor assembly 154859201. Also, check and make sure the float in the dishwasher is not stuck and causing the unit not to bring in enough water. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
