The Outer Bellow Clamp is an OEM Replacement Part designed for Frigidaire front-load washing machines. Its role is to securely hold the door boot in place, ensuring a tight seal that prevents leaks during operation. This clamp is attached to the front panel of the washer, and its installation requires the machine to be unplugged for safety.

Causes of a faulty outer bellow clamp can include wear and tear over time, damage due to excessive force or tension, or corrosion from exposure to water and detergent.

Symptoms of a bad outer bellow clamp may include:

  • Water leaking from the washer door or around the door boot seal
  • Loose or misaligned door boot seal
  • Visible damage or deformation of the clamp

This clamp is compatible with select Frigidaire brand models including Crosley, Electrolux, Kenmore, and White Westinghouse.

Hello Loni. No, there is no sensor under the clamp that would cause the washer not to spin. You will need to check the pump and filter inside the tub to pump hose and see if they are clogged. If so, this will prevent the machine from spinning. Hope this helps.
