Maria October 17, 2011 for Model Number fgfl67dbd The power went out...since then my oven/clock/temp/timer buttons do not work and will not turn on. The stove works fine but no oven functions. I have a gas stove/oven. Not sure if a power surge caused the problem, but I was wondering if there is a fuse that can be replaced and if so where is it??? Or is there a different part that will fix this problem and if so what part do I buy??? Thank you for your help.
1 Answer Hello Maria. No, there is no fuse on the model number you provided. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the clock 5304509983 is bad and will need to be replaced. You will need to order the overlay 316419141 as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
Tim August 30, 2011 for Model Number fgfl67hsf When I press clock, f99 shows; press bake and oven light only comes on; press bake time and dr shows; yesterday when bake was pressed, f13 showed, today f13 doesn't show regardless of what is pressed. If I need to replace a part can you give me helpful instructions on how to? Thank you for any help you give me. Tim
1 Answer Hello Tim. Based on the information you provided, you will need to replace the clock assembly 5304509983 and the door lock assembly 5304528973. You will disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the back panel off the control panel to access and replace the clock assembly. To replace the lock motor, you will raise the cook top to access and replace the lock motor. Hope this helps. Read More...
Herbert August 27, 2011 for Model Number FGFL67DSG My oven Doesnt want to light till i bang the timer real hard. What would cause this?Should i get a bigger hammer?
1 Answer Herbert, A bigger hammer wont really help. At this point, I would think you have a bad relay on the Clock/ERC. based on you post description. I was hoping it was a weak oven igniter, it could be, depending on how hard you're banging the control panel/stove. If you can get access to a multimeter, and check for 120 VAC to the oven igniter to verify. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
