Al E. June 14, 2011 for Model Number part # 316455400 stove timer I installed the new timer but may have reversed the first to wires on the timer. I do not have a diagram to follow. Starting from left to right there is a yellow - blue - black - red - orange. Is this the right sequence? Thanks.
David April 27, 2011 for Model Number tef326fba Does this part also send current to the oven. My elements or ok, but oven does not come on.
1 Answer Hello Daivd. Yes, this sends power to the elements. You will need to test and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the range. If so, test and see if the clock is sending power to the elements, when the oven is turned on. If not, you will need to replace the clock assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
