What's included:

Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing; handle the board with ESD protection
  • Photograph wiring and transfer connectors and any jumpers/settings from the original board
  • Inspect harnesses and connected loads for shorts to prevent repeat failure
  • After installation, run the model's diagnostic or calibration procedure if applicable

David L for Model Number EIFLW55HIW0

I have an Electrolux front load washer EIFLW55HIW0 and I'm having an issue. Over the past month the front lights all seemed to be on but at a very low level even when the washer was not running. 3 days ago the washer just wouldn't turn on. If left unplugged for 3 to 4 hours it sometimes will turn of and if placed into diagnostic mode error code 97 (console or main board control problem) is present. The wiring harness from the front console to the control board all test good. Is there a way to isolate which of the two components (Front control or main board) is faulty? David

David, There is no real way to test to see which component has failed as far as main control or the User interface. Based on the manufacturers recommendation you would want to replace the main control board 134640601.

Denise for Model Number ewflw65hiwo

We had something stuck in the drain filter - which caused a LOUD noise. It was a nail. Cleared that out. Then also fixed the tub hose which caused leaking on the floor. (that was happening for awhile, was not sure where it was coming from until we took the top off etc... to clear the drain filter). Put it all back together. NOW this is a new problem. The display turns off mid cycle - or at the beginning, or just won't turn on at all. It is not the electrical outlet, or the breaker. I am worried that it may be the control box? We were able to get it through install cycle a few times, but it is erratic and we just can't use it now. I am not sure if I need another NEW part? Or if there is some reset. (I did the reset to factory settings on the display) The display is FINE, when it comes on. It just stops on its own. Any suggestions????

Denise, This issue does sound like it would be caused by a faulty control board but would recommend putting the unit into a service diagnostic mode to see if there are any stored error codes. These codes if there are any will point you in the direction of what to check. This information will be located on the tech sheet located in the unit.

Hello Tony. What you need to do is make sure the drain hose isn't kinked at the back or blocked. Then empty the filter at the bottom of the washer and clear the chamber out as well. Make sure its fully cleared out in there. Once that's fine then take off the pressure hose which goes from the pressure switch down to the pressure bottle at the bottom. Check these hoses and make sure the hose is fine and there's no splits in there or holes. If so then replace the hose. Also make sure the pump impeller at the back isn't jammed up as well. Make sure the pump is working also. If all that appears ok and the pressure switch has been replaced already then it may be a faulty control board.

Hello Anna. Make sure the door switch is good. If so, you will need to order and replace the interface on the unit.
