I bought this to replace an EOC that had failed (part number 316222907). The website says that this is the appropriate replacement part and the picture of the board from the website looks exactly the same. When the part arrived the board looks a bit different and has two extra hook ups that are not on the original. The original has one wireing harness at the bottom and three wire mounts running down the right hand side labeled bake, broil, and L1. The new board has two additional wire mounts below L1 that were not on the original. I hooked everything up just like the original and left the extra mounts empty and everything seems to be working fine. Is this how it should be done or am I setting myself up for issues down the line, by not having anything hooked up to the last two mounts?

Hello Elly. You will need to check the temp probe and the wiring on the unit. If it is good, then the membrane you installed on the board may have a button stuck on it.

Elly, The F1 error code indicates a runaway temperature and you will want to check the following: Check RTD sensor probe and replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced should damage be extensive.

Rich for Model Number Frigidaire model FEFL77ASF

My wife called me last night (while I was at another location), a little panicked, and said that the broiler came on, and would not turn off, AND the oven door LOCKED, and wouldn't open. She had 3 loaves of bread in the oven that were burning & smoking... I had to tell her about where to turn of the power on the breaker box. Power was off all night and I turned it back on. The door lock released and we were able to open the door, BUT the broiler came on (we didn't turn it on) and I couldn't shut it off... I hit the breaker and its off now.... HALP! Thank you... Rich
