For Frigidaire Control Board (Part Number: OEM13542972)

Mike for Model Number LPGF3091KSA

I notice that the part number here states it replaces part #316562002. Is that due to a redesign or problem with the original? Is this the only part that is needed for the repair? Currently, clock is blinking (because I unplugged and plugged back in) but none of the buttons on touchpad work. Touchpad has been getting worse over time. Been having to press quite hard on any of the buttons. So, took off the back, disconnected ribbon cables, cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner, waited a few minutes, used canned air to dry connectors, reinserted ribbon cabled and no buttons work now. Tried to trim the cables to expose clean wires, that made no difference. So, think I need to replace the whole unit.

Hello Meredith, you likely need to replace your control membrane switch assembly 5304476749. It is not a difficult repair. There are screws at the back of the backguard panel to gain access to the assembly. Hope this helps!
