Mike February 25, 2013 for Model Number LPGF3091KSA Is it possible to just replace the membrane without getting the control panel? Only because I think the problem is with the membrane only since there is power going to it and clock works. I see part# 316549105 for membrane only. Would that be compatible with my existing control panel?

Mike February 24, 2013 for Model Number LPGF3091KSA I notice that the part number here states it replaces part #316562002. Is that due to a redesign or problem with the original? Is this the only part that is needed for the repair? Currently, clock is blinking (because I unplugged and plugged back in) but none of the buttons on touchpad work. Touchpad has been getting worse over time. Been having to press quite hard on any of the buttons. So, took off the back, disconnected ribbon cables, cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner, waited a few minutes, used canned air to dry connectors, reinserted ribbon cabled and no buttons work now. Tried to trim the cables to expose clean wires, that made no difference. So, think I need to replace the whole unit.
1 Answer Hello Mike. Yes, they have redesigned the part. You need to order 5304476749 for the part needed to repair the unit. Read More...
