For Frigidaire Control Board (Part Number: OEM13542972)

Unclegeorge for Model Number FPGF3081KFB

Frigidaire gas range, control panel partial failure, some numbers work, some don't."Cancel" is also failing. Could ask "membrane or controller and membrane", but see one questioner lost his membrane replacement after two years. Is replacing the entire unit recommended? How often, if ever, is a simple disassemble and cleaning effective? What life might I expect the repair to have? Range is only 4 years old, disappointing failure. I note the new Frigidaire ranges have a more tactile pad which clicks on press.

UncleGeorge, You can take the ribbon harness loose and check to make sure that there is no corrosion on it. If this does not correct it then the membrane would be the model likely cause of the issue 316549105.

I have a Figidaire Gallery slide in stove/oven. I have 2 problems. 1. On the stove top, one of the burner lights (that shows the stove is hot) is on all the time. This is not a big deal....but would be nice to fix if not too expensive. 2. The light does not work on the oven control board. It has been slowly fading, and if the sun wasn't too bright I could barely see it.....now I cannot tell anything. The oven works, I am just unable to read anything on the panel. My stove is approximately 15-16 years old. My husband will need to provide the model number later today. I am just wondering what type of part we need to purchase. Thank you!

Hello Minnie. For the light you must replace the infinite switch that is causing the light to stay on. As for the display, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit.

My convection fan and electric convection element in this gas stove do not get power, everything else works fine. I ordered the main control and membrane from you guys, changed it all out, and have the same problem. What else could cause this? The fan turns freely by hand, ohms out at 80, the element at 42 ohms, and checking with the multimeter, there's no power getting to either one. You push convect (350) then start, the convect bake light is on, oven heats up with gas, but no fan........Thanks!

Luis, on your model the manufacturer does not offer the controller with membrane on your model FPGF3081KFE. The controller is part number 316562004 and the membrane is part number 316549114. Thanks.

Steve, If you turn on the convection fan and there is not power getting to the fan then the oven control 5304476749 would be the problem and would need to be replaced.

Larry, The error codes cannot be recovered on this unit. If there are error codes it will display and normally will not be able to use the oven. You will want to check to make sure that the ribbon harness on the from the control to the membrane to make sure that it has a firm connection and also check to make sure that there is no corrosion on the harness. If this checks ok then replace the control 5304476749.
