Barbara, If the unit has stainless handles that are tubular then there will be a set screw at the top and bottom you can tighten. If it is a plastic handle then you would lift straight up on the handle to release it and then can tighten the screws.

Hello Mallisa. You will grasp the handles and slide them off the hook screws. Then tighten the screws down and slide the handles back onto the door.

Carol, If you lift straight up on the door handle it will come off in order to tighten the screws, then slide it back on.

Hello Sandra, If you grasp the door handle and yank it straight up, it will pop off of its' retaining screws. If these screws are loose they will need to be tightened. If none of the screws are loose and the screws inside the handles hole in the keyhole retainers are tight, you may need to remove these metal parts inside the handle and manipulate them a bit to tighten the keyhole retainer. If you cannot get them to tighten up without causing them not to grab back in, you may have to replace the handles. Also be very aware that the screws in the handles are threaded into plastic so be careful not to strip them.

Hello Sandra. Jerk upward to remove the handle from the door. Then tighten the stud down. Then reinstall the handle.
