Present mfg's hose isn't long enough to do so. Also, is there a connection I can get as well? I believe hose opening on present hose where attached to garbage disposal is 1 inch. Tammy May 16, 2012 for Model Number FDB1250REC1 I can't find a pic of the part I ned on any of the online diagrams and I have no idea what it is called. There was water leaking from under my DW. In the group of wires underneath, there are two that branch off and are connected back into the bottom, a white one and a red one. The are screwed into the bottom and the screws appear to be covered by an approx. 1/2 inch long brass cylinder that screws up tight to the machine. The one covering the red wire is split and water is leaking out of it. What is the name of that part and can it be replaced or will it require a larger parts repair?
