Mars Shaw June 28, 2017 for Model Number FFGF3047LSE Hey! My gas oven makes a click sound after a few second once the baking or broil button is pressed but won't turn on. Igniter was not coming on. Igniter's resistance was 295 ohm but even then I found one at a local store and replaced but it did the same thing at first try but then it worked for a few times. Resistance of this new igniter is around 75 ohms. After a few days it started doing the same thing just click sound around the board and not coming on. I took the control board off and tested continuity for the igniter from the board. It still reads the same resistance 75 ohms. I checked amps and volts there was nothing. I jumped the negative and positive wire of igniter to bypass it even then it didn't come on. Please need help and recommendation for the replacement part. Thanks
1 Answer Mars, If there is no voltage present at the igniter then this issue would be a control board that is faulty. The control board part number will be 5304518661. Read More...

1 Answer Mars, If there is no power getting to the igniter then this will be an issue with the control board of the unit. Read More...
Marco March 26, 2017 for Model Number FFGF3011LBC My oven wont get hot but the stove top works I have replaced the saftey valve and the igniter.
1 Answer Hello Marco. You will need to order 5304518661 for the oven control board needed for the unit. Read More...
Queen March 15, 2017 for Model Number FFGF3015LBD My top part comes on but my oven do not come on. My iginiter does work but my stove will not come on. Can you tell me why the oven still not working?
1 Answer Queen, You will want to test the oven safety valve with the oven in the on position to make sure that there is 3.2 to 3.6 vac. If there is not proper voltage then it is a weak igniter and igniter would need replaced. If there is proper voltage then it would be a faulty oven safety valve. Read More...
Ed February 12, 2017 for Model Number FFGF3047LSF My oven is not heating so I took the igniter off and checked the continuity. It is reading 295-300 is this a faulty igniter?
1 Answer Hello Ed. No, that is not a faulty ignitor. You will need to check the board and the valve on the unit. Read More...
Jerry September 03, 2016 for Model Number FGF348KSJ How many amps should a properly functioning oven igniter draw on model FGF348KSJ?
1 Answer Jerry, The oven igniter should draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps. You could also test voltage to the oven safety valve which should be 3.2 to 3.6 vac getting to it. If it is not correct then the igniter is faulty. Read More...
Tom June 20, 2016 for Model Number DGGF3054KFB Hello, I have a Frigidaire Gas Oven (LP) model # DDGF3054KFB that's 7 years old. Recently , when the oven is on it has had a odor like kerosene that comes and goes. The oven is clean with no spills. Someone said it may be a weak Ignitor so I took the oven pan off to check it. The Ignitor lights up a bright orange and it takes well over 90 seconds for the burner to light, but it does light. I used a volt meter and checked the safety valve which would be your# AP3879604. The valve has 2 terminal spots so I wasn't sure which to check , so I checked both. The one where the goes burner goes down on the orifice, the reading there bounces from 2.5 -3.0. The other terminal the reading was 1.5. Do you think it is a weak ignitor as it is a Bright Orange and it takes a while for the gas to light. Any info would be helpful . Thank you Tom
1 Answer Tom, The voltage reading of the safety valve should be between 3.2 to 3.6 vac. If you are getting below that then it would mean that the igniter is weak and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Holly Z. December 08, 2014 Hello, my oven is not heating but the 4 burners work. When I turn the bake button on I hear a click but do not see a flame and oven does not heat. I tried replacing the igniter but that didn't fix the issue.
1 Answer Holly, Did the 5304509706 igniter come on and glow when you tried to start the oven ? If not, there may be a broken wire or a faulty relay on the ERC/Clock. If the igniter did glow at a "white" hot appearance, then you may have a faulty safety valve. The internal switch could be shorted and not opening to allow the gas to flow and ignite on the burner. Joe H. November 18, 2014 for Model Number FGF379WJCB In my frigidaire gallery oven, I turn on the pre-heat and it works fine. However, the oven never really catches. The ignitor is glowing orange and there is a faint gas smell when turned on. Sometimes, it will catch and if there is a lot of gas, a whooshing sound will occur. Is my ignitor just not getting hot enough? Thanks, Joe
1 Answer Hello Joe. Test for 3.0-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Tompat May 02, 2014 for Model Number ffgf3013lwd The stove burners work fine but the oven wont light. I dont hear a click when turning it on, and there is no gas coming through Thanks Tom
1 Answer Tom, You won't hear a click, you'll have to remove the oven bottom and observe the oven igniter 5304509706. Once you program a bake cycle, the igniter should start to glow, and in a matter of 30 to 60 seconds, it should be "white" hot, and the burner should ignite. If you can access a "Clamp ON" ammeter, the igniter needs to draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps on one of the wires in order to open the oven safety valve and igniter the burner. Read More...
