Mike F. July 22, 2011 for Model Number kenmore 41793802200 My washer/dryer combo will fill washer with water but will not agitate. I can hear motor (I think) humming. It will spin the water out. Is my reverse burned up in this motor do you think?
1 Answer Hello Mike. Remove the belt from the bottom of the pulley and turn the pulley by hand and see if the agitator turns. If it is locked down, you will want to check and make sure nothing is under the agitator. If all is clear, you may have a bad transmission 134737100. If the agitator turns freely, you could have a bad motor. With the belt removed, turn on the machine and see if the motor runs. If it just hums, you will need to replace the motor 134159500.
