Keri January 09, 2012 for Model Number ATF7000FG0 We have an error code of E56, there is absolutely no movement during the cycle and water does not come out or drain, the time just clicks away very slowly and the cycle never finishes, it will remain on 1 min till I press cancel. We did the diagnostic test recommended in the manual including the ohms test on the pins on the motor which resulted in fluctuating numbers anywhere from 4 13. We also unplugged and and then plugged back in the electrical plugs on the door latch. This did not help. The manual recommends a new motor. I wanted to double check before purchasing a new motor! Thanks for the help!
1 Answer Hello Keri. Yes, based on the error code you provided, you will need to replace the motor 137043000. Hope this helps. Read More...
Mike December 26, 2011 for Model Number atf8000sf1 I hammered in the grooved part that the belt connects to because I did not think it was lined up properly. Oops. Now it is in too far and I am not able to get it out. Is there a trick to doing this so that I do not have to get a new motor? Have I damaged it so that I cannot fix it? Thanks for any ideas you have.
