The Frigidaire Drain Pump is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. It plays a crucial role in the washer's operation by removing water from the wash tub at the end of each cycle, ensuring your clothes are properly drained before the spin cycle.

Causes of a bad drain pump can include blockages from debris such as coins, lint, or small items that escape from clothing, as well as motor or impeller damage. Electrical failures can also impair pump function, leading to inadequate water removal.

Symptoms of a bad Frigidaire Drain Pump include:

  • Water not draining completely from the washer
  • Unusual noises, like humming or buzzing, indicating the pump is struggling
  • Washer stopping mid-cycle
  • Water pooling around the base of the machine

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

For Frigidaire Frigidaire Drain Pump (Part Number: OEM17054127)

Lorenzo, You will want to test to see if the pump is getting 120 Vac to it and if there is not then the issue will be a faulty control. If there is then check for restrictions in the hose system.

Harry, I would also check the pressure switch line on the right side of the tub when standing in front of the washer. I have seen those get a hole rubbed through before. Also not sure if the tub seal you were referring to is the door bellows or not but open the door and check around that door seal inside for any holes as well. If that is what you checked the other tub seal is in between the tub halves (front and back), check there to see if it is leaking between the tubs and remember to check the tubs real good the may have a hole as well. Even if you don't see the leak, look around for any signs of watermarks on the cabinet as it can direct you towards the leaking location.

Jeff, Check to make sure that the pump is not clogged and if it is not, test to see if you have 120 VAC to the pump of the unit and if there is power then the pump is faulty. If there is not power then the issue will be the control board.

John H., inside the drain hose going from the tub to the pump, is a coin filter. You should be able to squeeze it out of the tub side opening and clean it. if you hear the pump motor coming on it should be working unless the impeller is stripped. When you turn the impeller manually with your finger, it should have a little resistance to it, if it does not, replace the pump, part number is 137221600

Javier, Unfortunately, this drain pump is rated for 120 VAC. You would need a parts distributor in your country to get the correct part.

I need a drain pump for this unit. The part number off the actual drain pump I took out is 131724000 - the part it suggests is number AP5684706 - which looks compatible the other number for that part is 137221600 anyway I put my model number in the double check box and it says it is the wrong part. The pump that comes up when I put the appliance model number in the search bar on your home page doesn't look rite - this unit is the stacked washer and dryer so I don't think it is very common.

Rob, The Frigidaire laundry center is a more "popular" and "common" product than you'd imagine. As best we can tell and verify, the 137221600 / 137221600 Washer Electric Drain Pump And Motor Assy . is the correct part to order for the model number you supplied. The [131724000] drain pump, has been replaced by the manufacturer with the [137221600]. We had to use model number FLXEC52RBS2, it was the closest we could find, using the manufacturers web site. Apparently, your laundry center was produced and located in Canada. The compatibility chart in the AppliancePartsPros.com web site would not recognize the model number you supplied.

Hello Mike, Since the motor is not a polarized part it will work properly with the wires connected either way. The ac motor will not be affected by switching the wire positions.
