Sara September 28, 2017 for Model Number ATF6000FS2 Our drain pump melted, literally. Half of it is gone and there is a pool of plastic on the ground. We replaced the pump only to find out that the wiring harness connecting wires to the pump had also melted and part of the wires are exposed. I cannot find this wiring connection ANYWHERE online. Can you please help me find a model part and also with directions on how to replace it? I am guessing I need to replace the entire wires... Thanks in advance!
1 Answer Sara, The connector itself is not available as a separate part and you would need to replace the wiring harness of the unit for this. The wiring harness part number will be 137104600. Read More...
Craig July 16, 2017 for Model Number Frigidaire Affinity When I start cycle drain pump comes on for about one second. I can hear some water pumping and then everything get turned off. All lights go out. I took off pump and it is not plugged and it does turn. Unit is 10 years old. Do I replace the pump or something else???? Craig
1 Answer Hello Craig. If the pump is running, then it does not sound like a pump issue. It sounds like the board may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit. You will need to check the control board on the unit. Read More...
Al April 30, 2017 for Model Number fafw3574kno Clothes left very wet at end of cycle. I check drain hose trap and was some stuff in there. but still will only spin 3 to 4 times then stop for a minute then spin 3 to 4 time. over and over till spin cycles stops. Clothes very wet still. Also make loud noise on spin cycle. Seems to be coming from pump. will replacing pump make it spin correctly? pump does work. it does drain. thank you
1 Answer Al, With the unit not spinning then this will be most likely a faulty door switch. There is a spin enable switch that could be not working. Read More...
Robert Woods December 30, 2016 for Model Number Splendide WD802M Splendide no longer manufacture my specific washer/dryer combo model WD802M drain pump (116590746TG). My plan is to try and make a comparable pump work in this application. Current pump is 110V with suction nipple at 1.7" OD and discharge nipple at 0.875" OD. The 2 questions I have are: 1. What are the power requirements and suction/discharge dimensions of the Electrolux 137221600 Washer Drain Pump Kit? 2. Do you have anything else comparable to the Splendide 116590746TG? The Spendide pump has the suction and discharge nipples 180 degrees apart. (similar to a drill pump) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can send you a picture of my current pump for reference. Please let me know.
1 Answer Robert, The power requirements for the drain pump 137221600 would be 120 vac. As for the discharge and the suction we would not have the dimensions of that part. Read More...

Jamie November 16, 2015 for Model Number ATF60001ES1 The washer shuts off half way thru its cycle leaving the clothes with soap and still has a lot of water in them. What could cause this. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Jamie. You will need to check the lid switch on the unit and see if it is bad. Also, make sure the drain pump is working properly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
1 Answer Bruno, There are several possible reasons for a washer to not drain, one being the drain pump motor not operating. It could also be a clogged or kinked portion of the drain hose. or the tub to pump hose. And there is a possible problem in the timer or control board. A proper model number and an e mail address would be a lot more helpful to assisting you, with tests and procedures to diagnose the problem. Read More...
Kathy April 22, 2015 for Model Number 137221600 I would like to know if this pump 137221600 M222-5 is a 2 minutes on/ 10 minutes off?
1 Answer Kathy, The pump itself will only run as commanded to by the timer or control board whichever your unit has. In the spin cycle after the water has been pumped out and the unit is in spin, it will turn on and off. We would need to have the model number of the unit to be able to assist properly with your question. Read More...
Niki S February 07, 2015 for Model Number FLXE52RBS8 This unit was bought about 6 years ago maybe less. It hadn't run but maybe 12 times and then it was put outdoors in a shed for a few years. THen it was moved to a storage unit and has been in there for two and a half years, neither place heated, in michigan. We recently hooked it up and all was going good till it came time for the machine to drain, it wouldn't. Could these conditions and etc. affect the pump? Thanks. Niki
