H July 04, 2016 for Model Number FDB1050REM2 I have a Frigidaire FDB1050REM2 that came with the house that I recently purchased. It has a slight leak in the lower right corner during the wash cycle. Is this the tub gasket or the lower gasket or should I just replace both? I've also heard about about splash shield kit for some of these Frigidaire dishwashers - this one does not have any splash shields. Would that also make sense for this model? Many thanks.
1 Answer Hello H. You will need to order and replace the lower door seal 809006501 and the splash shield kit. Read More...
Shing June 25, 2016 for Model Number 154701001 Can the Frigidaire splash guard be used for a kemnore dishwasher?

This is the only way we can tell if the part will fit and work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Dale March 03, 2016 for Model Number FDB780RCSO I replaced the bottom door gasket but it is still leaking from the bottom of the door in the center of the bottom of the door.
1 Answer Hello Dale. It sounds like the gasket may not be adjusted properly. It should touch the bottom of the tub when you close the door. If so, then it will prevent the leak. If it does touch, the unit may be filling with water to high due to a dirty float or bad water valve. Read More...

Jason September 10, 2015 for Model Number FGHD2433KB1 I bought the splash guards, put them in, and ran a load and they worked great. It fixed my problem of the corner leaking. However every time since they've popped out of the channel when we pull the bottom rack out. They won't stay no matter what we do. I can't keep popping them in and out every time. Am I missing something? I didn't really understand using the flat head screw driver to make them fit. Do I perhaps needs a new gasket as well as the splash guards? The current gasket looks fine but I need some way of keeping them in place.
1 Answer Jason, You may not have gotten the part in tight enough but here is a link to a video that shows how to get the part in. If the door gasket is not tight enough then it may need to have the gasket replaced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki7WnXvdpzA Read More...
Judith W May 31, 2014 for Model Number FGBD2431KB1 My dishwasher leaks on both corners of dishwasher. Have replaced the tub gasket and dishwasher bottom seal. Possibly might need splash shield kit, but have never found it on a schematic. Please advise
1 Answer Judith, There is not a splash shield for this unit. You will want to check the lower spray arm for clogs or for being broken. If this is the case it can cause ripple effect in the tub in which it will cause water to splash out. Read More...
Dan January 02, 2014 for Model Number FDBB2040FS1 I replaced the door gasket but water is leaking into the tray where the gasket seats inside the door panel. Is this normal? The gasket is notched in the middle and I placed that towards the inside of the tub. The little notch in the gasket went into the seat on the right hand side of the door.
1 Answer Dan, Yes, there will be a small amount of water in the area where you described. The notch in the door seal allows the water to migrate back into the tub, and get filtered and redistributed through the wash system. If you installed the splash shield kit 154701001 and there is still water splashing in the corners of the door, you may have to raise the shields 1/8 to 3/16 inch, and check the lower spray arm for debris and split seams or improper rotation of the arm, causing the water to spray over or around the shields. Joanne November 27, 2013 for Model Number FDB520RHB2 My dishwasher was leaking during every wash, and I replaced the tub seal and the bottom door gasket. The leaking stopped for about a week, then started again with every few washes. I checked the drain pump which is in good shape. I'm thinking the splash shield kit needs replacing. Could this be the problem? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Joanne. Yes, if you notice the water coming from the corners of the bottom of the door. Replace the kit. Read More...

Kim October 22, 2013 for Model Number LFBD2409MLM0B We just re-installed our dishwasher after our kitchen remodel. It had been working fine before it was uninstalled. Since reconnecting everything water is coming out of the lower portion of the door. Could this be a bad seal? or possibly something else damaged when it was temporarily uninstalled?
1 Answer Kim, The first thing that you will want to make sure of is that the unit is leveled properly. If the unit is not leveled properly it will cause the leaking issue. You will also want to check the spray arms to make sure that they are not clogged and causing the spraying to be off causing ripple effect and splashing water under the door. Also check to see if there is a seal at the bottom of the door and check it for damage. Read More...
