Vic, The overload/start relay is an easy repair and replacement in most cases, remove the lower compartment cover on the back of the refrigerator, and unplug the ower cord. Press on and release the retainer spring holding the relay cover on the side of the compressor, grasp and pull stright out on the relay overload and capacitor assembly. Check the 3 pins on the compressor to insure no damage occurred to the compressor. Check and switch one wire at a time from the original part to the new part. and reverse the removal procedure and check for opration. Thanks.

Hello Tim. Check and see if you have a defrost problem, and if the fan motor in the freezer is running. Both of these can lead to warmer temperaturs in the refrigerator. Hope this helps.
