1 Answer Frank, If you remove the middle panel between the washer and dryer there will be a screw on either side that will allow the control panel to roll forward and come off. Then you remove the knob and disconnect the wiring from the switch. There will be a tab you lift and then rotate the switch to remove it. Read More...
Joe November 21, 2020 for Model Number Model no. FFLG3911QW1 Beeps while on the off position at Random times and only works on the heavy duty warm water position. The board has been replaced and still the same.
1 Answer Joe, you will need to find the tech sheet, typically located in the console or inside the washer cabinet. The beeping is a error code and you will need to put it into a diagnostic mode and retrieve the error codes. Read More...
Jonathan June 08, 2020 for Model Number FARE1011MW1 My dryer won't turn on, it just beeps. I tried to put it into diagnosis mode but it wouldn't make the long beep noise to confirm it entered diagnosis mode. I took it apart to test for continuity and the thermal fuses, thermostat, and door lock are all fine, but the thermistor was showing 39k resistance on the 200k setting. Can the thermistor cause it to not start? Also is there a way to test the start switch, and both control boards? Thanks for your time
1 Answer Jonathan, if the outlet thermistor 134587700 is registering 39KO, it will tell the control that the unit is much hotter than it should be which can cause operational issues. The outlet thermistor should only read 5KO at room temperature. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide a testing procedure for the user interface control 137332400NH and the main control A00499002 would be considered if every other component tests good. The beep notifies that the user interface is registering input, so it would not be a likely failure. Read More...
Bruce C May 17, 2018 for Model Number FFLE1011MW2 Is the knob on the wash cycle selection switch a pressure fit or is there set screw?
Dave May 11, 2018 for Model Number FFLE3911QW Cycle switch will not start washer, all I get is three beeps & nothing. Door is locked & will not unlock. Have done a full control reset. Didn't do anything. After entering diagnostic mode, none of the tests activate.
1 Answer Dave, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board on the unit. Read More...
Phillip April 26, 2017 for Model Number FAHE1011MW0 NO power at the control, the machine doesn't respond with the press or turning of any button. When i check the motor control board just in front of the basket there is a green blinking light, thanks.
1 Answer Hello Phillip. Since we have a green flashing light, you will need to test and see if there is power coming to the control board. If there is power at the board, then the board will need to be replaced on the unit A00540602. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Bradley October 30, 2016 for Model Number FFLE1011MW0 this is a stackable unit dryer pause doesnt work timer doesnt work changed the control board no change could it be just the push and pause switch
1 Answer Bradley, Yes it could be a defective switch 137493300 / 137493300, or a loose or damaged wire. There is also a thermal limiter/fuse 134120900 / 134120900 located on the rear of the dryer cabinet wall, that if "open" will not allow the dryer to start and run. You may want to check the limiter fuse first. Read More...
Brandon December 05, 2014 for Model Number FAHE1011MW0 My washer does not go from wash cycle to spin cycle. It will agitate so motor, belt, etc looks to be OK. Could their be an issue with the main control board that is causing it not to call for spin cycle?
1 Answer Brandon, While it is possible for the unit to have a control board issue, you will want to access the tech sheet located inside the unit and put the unit into the diagnostics. You will want to check for stored error codes as this could be a main control board, speed control or door lock issue. The error code will point you in the correct direction. Read More...
