For Frigidaire Surface Burner Infinite Switch (Part Number: OEM13105017)

Travis for Model Number Frigidaire FES367DCB

Received replacement part 903136-9020, infinite switch for my Frigidaire FES367DCB. Replacement switch is larger and different color. The new switch has 1-H1, 2-P, 3-L1, 4-H2, 5-L2 next to the terminals. I currently can't read back of existing black switch because of lighting / angles. Is this essentially a matching game of old switch wire + labeling into corresponding labeled terminals on the new switch? I was feeling pretty good when I watched replacement videos, but now that switch is entirely different... :-) Thanks

Travis, Yes, you will need to determine the number or letters on the old switch and match them to the new switch.

Hello Steve, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to please post a new question including the verified model number from the units' I.D. tag since the one provided will not come up for us as a valid model number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Paul, According to the manufacturer, this is the correct switch for your unit. From time to time the manufacturer will change the design of the part and the wiring should be the same. Just look at the original switch and switch the wires from the label on the original to the new switch.

My stove is Kenmore Elite, model 790.46603501 The range burner control switch for the smaller rear burner is out - original part 318220080. Sears shows that the replacement part is 903136-9010, so I purchased this, but it only have 5 prongs for wires, and my original switch has 6 wires. I see that an orange and black wire seem to be joined at one prong. But this orginal switch is a different size and color from the replacement, and the wire prongs are all different. Is this really the replacement switch, and if so, how do I reconnect the wires??

1 Answer

Matthew, This new switch is the direct replacement and the one that has 2 wires going to it will be a piggy back connection so they will both go on the same as original. You would just need to match terminal to terminal.

Jason for Model Number FED355ESB

Hello, I've replaced the infinity switch, and now the element won't heat. I've already tested the burner and it's fine. I had to change from part number 318369616 to 318293831 (or 903136-9020). I followed the markings on back of the old switch and connected them to the like marking on the new. The old switch wasn't turning correctly so it was definitely an issue. However, I could use some help on where to go from here. I've ordered part number PS470125, just in case. I also have an unmarked panel, so any quick tips on locating the breaker for the range would be appreciated. Thanks!

Jason, There should have been a instruction sheet that comes with the switch, just double check to make sure that you made the connections correctly and also check at the H1 to H2 with the switch in the on position to make sure that you have 240 vac at that point. If there is proper power then this will most likely be the receptacle.

Dennis, This issue would be caused by a thermal limiter on the burner that is being affected. The thermal limiter is showing for the element to still be on and you would want to replace the element.

Hello Chris. No, this is not common. You need to check and see if the knobs are bad or it is actually the switches. If the switches, you will need to replace them all.

Kors for Model Number FES367DCB

I purchased the replacement part for my Frigidaire range burner switch. The part is 903136-9020 which replaces the original 318220021. The switch controls far left (rear) burner. The problem is the wire colors do not match up with the video I found online and I can't find a wire diagram anywhere that shows what color of wires goes to H2 , L2 , L1 , H1 and 2P terminals on the new switch . There are black, red, 2 yellow and another red wires going to this switch. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

1 Answer

Hello Kors. Black goes to L1, Red to L2, Yellow to H1, Yellow to H2, and Orange to P.
