This is the water inlet valve that controls the flow of household water into your washer during fill and rinse. Replacing a failing valve restores proper filling performance and helps stop unintended water entry when the machine is idle.

  • Opens and closes to allow the correct amount of water into the washer as commanded by the control
  • Failure can cause no fill, slow/long fill, or continuous filling/fill when off
  • Leaks from the valve body or hose connections indicate the valve should be replaced
  • Electrical coil failure may lead to intermittent or no operation
What's included: 1 water inlet valve assembly Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
  • Place a towel or pan to catch residual water; label and disconnect hoses and wiring
  • Install the new valve; transfer any brackets or clips from the old part if needed
  • Restore water and power, then check all connections for leaks and run a test fill
