This tub baffle is the vane inside the washer drum that lifts and tumbles laundry. Replacing a cracked or missing baffle restores proper turnover, helps prevent fabric snags, and reduces banging from loose parts.

  • Lifts and moves clothes through the wash and rinse for effective cleaning
  • Promotes more even tumbling and extraction during spin
  • Replace if the baffle is cracked, loose, or missing
  • Common symptoms: poor tumbling, items snagging or tearing, rattling/thumping inside the drum
What's included: One tub baffle Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
  • Open the door and rotate the drum to access the baffle fasteners from inside the drum
  • Remove screws or release locking tabs, seat the new baffle fully, and secure with existing hardware
  • Hand-rotate the drum to confirm clearance before running a cycle
