Hello Wendell. In America, the outlet should read 244 volts and you will use a 240 volt cord. If the voltage is 250 or higher, you need an electrican to repair the voltage issue to use the 240 volt dryer.

Hello Mera. Remove the cover from the back of the terminal block. The two outside wires go to the outside screws on the terminal block, and the wire in the middle of the cord WX09X10002 goes to the middle of the terminal block.

Hello David. You will need to look at the outlet you are plugging the dryer into. If there are three places in the outlet, then you will use a three wire. If there are 4 places in the outlet, you will use the 4 wire. This is the reason dryers and ranges do not come with cords. Hope this helps.
