Jim October 29, 2015 for Model Number JP651002BC I would like to replace the terminal block of a surface element with a connector that accepts surface elements with prongs that allow the heating element to be easily removed from the cooktop and be reconnected. Is there a replacement part for my JP651002BC cooktop allows for this power connection conversion?
1 Answer Hello Jim. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Doug September 11, 2015 I purchase this element however i can't get to lay down flat on stove with ring around it.
1 Answer Doug, Try this, Place a large pot of water on the burner element (at least 3 or 4 quarts) and bring the water to a boil. Once the water is boiling turn off the burner and allow the element to cool back down. It'll take a while, but the high heat and weight of the water should allow the element to temper and even out or level out in the drip bowl/ring. Read More...

Joey May 20, 2015 for Model Number JBP26G0K2AD My ceramic terminal block has broken into pieces and I need a new one. What is the part number for this, and can I replace the ceramic block only without splicing the wires? I can't find the model number on your website. The stove is from 1989.
1 Answer Hello Joey, You will have to splice the wires since the connections inside the ceramic block is what normally cause the issue. Also, since a poor connection is what normally causes the receptacle WB17X5113 failure, you should also replace the surface element unless you can sand the connections down to eliminate any burn marks completely. As a note, your model is listed by the manufacturer as JBP26G*K2. Read More...
