Julia Weihs December 21, 2018 for Model Number Unknown. Can't find it. Electric Cooktop, from the 70's Hi, I have an old (from the 70s!) GE electic stovetop (not a range). My husband melted a plastic bag on one of the large burners. Needless to say, we can no longer use it! It is a wired element, not a plug-in type connector. I ordered the wrong version - the plug-in style - from you. Is this one -- GE AP2027829 / WB30X348 8 Inch Large Surface Element -- the correct one?? Is it a wired element connection?
