Bob D. July 01, 2011 for Model Number WWA8314VKL I sent an e-mail a few minutes ago before I noticed instruction sheets on your site. Specifically, for Part AP2044578 (#303), there are several views of the part and also two instruction pages. The pages are very light and largely illegible although I can read enough to know that these are the answers I am looking for. Can you e-mail to me a more legible copy of Quick Fix System WH1X1944R?
1 Answer Hello Bob. We will need your email address to send you the instruction sheets. Thanks. Read More...
Bob D July 01, 2011 for Model Number WWA8314VKL Part AP2044578 (#303) appears to be the part I need. The metal spline (male) driveshaft looks good - splines are OK. The #303 (female splined part) is still within the agitator. The top of the agitator is an integral plastic cap with a couple a small "vent(?)" slots. There are no screws. How do I get the old #303 out of the agitator? Do I pound it axially downward?
1 Answer Hello Bob. Yes, you will remove the coupling out of the bottom of the agitator. Be careful not to break the agitator when removing the coupling WH1X1944. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ted June 24, 2011 for Model Number WWT2470GA I got the agitator to pull off but part 303 with the splines on it seems to have separated so I have a a piece that goes on the shaft but the other half of it is still in the agitator and will not come out is there something that I can use to make them connect or get the peice out of the agitator?
1 Answer Hello Ted. You will need to use something to remove the part from the agitator, and you will need to replace the coupling WH1X1944. You may be able to remove the part from the agitator with a pair of needle nose pliers. Hope this helps. Read More...
Denise April 21, 2011 for Model Number WWA7050GALAD You say it pulls off the post is there a screw or something that needs to be loosed first? I have tried to pull and pry the best I can without damaging the shaft of the washer but it just will not come off. Is there any type of tip or trick to get it to pop off? I can't imagine it just sits on top of the shaft without being secured somehow.
1 Answer Hello Denise. These do not have screws holding them on the shaft. You may need to use a hammer and a chisel to remove the coupling. Hope this helps. Read More...
