Leo December 25, 2021 for Model Number GFSS6KKYESS Hi I need to change the ice chute funnel assembly on this ge fridge as I have read you cannot change the paddle alone which snapped. Possible to send instructions on changing the chute and funnel assembly on this model?
1 Answer Leo, there will be a screw on the bottom of the dispenser cover WR13X10888 that would need to be removed after unplugging the refrigerator power cord. Tom November 08, 2021 for Model Number PGSS6PKXSS Refrigerator Dispenser Ice Chute Door and Funnel Assembly WR13X10737 / AP4413234 PART purchased for my broken piece on my GE PFSS6PKXSS refrigerator. I unscrewed one screw under the display but cannot remove the unit itself. There is another hole there but what is it? Philips head was tried but nothing?? Thanks in advance for your help
1 Answer Tom, on the bottom right of the display cover there is a square slot (to the front and right of where the screw was located). This slot will have a lock tab just above it that would need to be pressed in using a small flat head screwdriver. This will allow the cover to be removed to change out the funnel assembly. Wondering what I need to do in order to remove the display and gain access to the water/ice dispenser? Once I know I can gain access to the part I will order the new one.
1 Answer Dave, If you grab the opening of where the dispenser chute is just on the edge of the opening and give a good pull it should come off. Read More...

Bob July 08, 2019 Is this the part (WR13X10737) that crushes the ice? My ice maker works but when crushing the ice whole cubes come out and no longer crushes.
1 Answer Bob, The ice case route assembly would not be what crushes the ice. There is a solenoid beside the auger motor that may not be switching from cube to crushed ice. This solenoid shaft may be stuck in the up position. Read More...
