This is an ice chute and funnel assembly for refrigerators with ice dispensers on their doors. The chute opens upon the user's command input and releases ice into a glass or other container placed underneath it. With use, because of misuse, or as a result of accidental damage, part or all of the ice chute door and funnel may malfunction or fail entirely. Nik, Remove the screw and then grab the edge of the opening and pull out to remove the dispenser cover and you will be able to replace the funnel assembly.

Leo, there will be a screw on the bottom of the dispenser cover WR13X10888 that would need to be removed after unplugging the refrigerator power cord. Once it is removed, the cover will pull forward from the bottom. This will give access to the chute and funnel assembly WR13X10737.

Tom, on the bottom right of the display cover there is a square slot (to the front and right of where the screw was located). This slot will have a lock tab just above it that would need to be pressed in using a small flat head screwdriver. This will allow the cover to be removed to change out the funnel assembly.

Dave, If you grab the opening of where the dispenser chute is just on the edge of the opening and give a good pull it should come off.

Hello Tom, Pull out on the bottom of the display and it should pop out. This will also expose the screws holding the dispenser assembly in place.

Bob, The ice case route assembly would not be what crushes the ice. There is a solenoid beside the auger motor that may not be switching from cube to crushed ice. This solenoid shaft may be stuck in the up position.
