Hi Jim. It is directly behind your Control panel.Remove power. Remove the knobs. Remove the 3- upper/ inner hidden phillip screws that hold the panel onto the front assy. The Valve burner will be bolted to a horizontal body. Burner Valve is part # WB21K12. Thank you.

Ron, No it is not a top burner valve, the part you need, based on your information, is the Thermostat WB20K8 . That should get you back up and cooking. Thanks and Good Luck.

Hello Phil, If you need the right front burner valve you will need WB21K12. If you are looking for the right rear burner valve it will be WB21K21. In regards to raising the top, check for screws under the front lip of the range top. Make sure the burners are not restricting the lift of the top. If they are, you will have to remove the burners to lift the top. Hope this helps!
