1 Answer Chip, The burner valve that you would need for the right front burner is part number WB21K12 and the switch would be WB24K10003. Read More...

Tom R February 06, 2013 for Model Number 36275970690 My burner valve is 180 degrees out of synch with the ignition. Normally when you push in and turn just a little, you hear the popping from the spark plugs. In this case, I have to turn the gas about halfway on before I hear the ignition. Is the burner part # WB21K40 what I need to replace? How does the burner cause the igniter to turn on? Or is there another part that I need? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Tom. Based on the information you provided, the spark switches are bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
William T January 12, 2013 for Model Number JGBP90MEA2BC I need to remove the burner valve part WB21K12. There is a screw holing it in place which goes into part 14(Gas burner diagram). There is a small very thin rubber washer on the screw. The screw and washer do not have a part number. The washer is riped. Looks like this may keep the gas from escaping. Is this a special washer. Where can I get one, whats the part #. Its very thin and looks likes it rubber. It does not come with the burner valve.
1 Answer Hello William, Based on your description you are referring to the screw that is on the opposite end of the valve shaft. If this is the case then the thin washer that you are looking at is actually teflon tape that is used on the threads of the screw in order to screw to the manifold. Read More...
Gwen March 31, 2012 for Model Number GE XL 44 all 4 top burners work prooperly ,however the oven does not heat up or turn on when oven burner turned on. Glow ignition does not turn on.
1 Answer Gwen, You will need to visually check the igniter, to see if it is cracked or broken. If all appears OK, you'll need to get access to a multimeter TJMA-DMT3 and check the igniter WB13K21 for a "closed" circuit. Disconnect the igniter wires from the chassis harness and check for 120 VAC across the wires in a bake selection to see that we're getting voltage from the ERC/Clock. Here's some meter usage information should you need it :[http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] And you'll need a proper model number off the serial plate when you order any parts if needed. Donna February 06, 2012 for Model Number General Electric JGBS23BEAsAD My stove is gas. When you turn the knob (both the right front and right rear) to ignite the burner it just clicks but won't ignite. Also the knob turns completely around past off. Which parts do I need to replace?
1 Answer Hello Donna. Check and make sure the valve WB21K12 is good on the unit. If so, it sounds like the spark module WB13K25 may be bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
Sam H. January 10, 2012 for Model Number RGB745WEA6WW Hello, I ended up breaking off the far left knob somehow in a move. The metal piece the knob fits on broke after being bent. I was able to remove the burner valve, which exact model fits the far left knob? I think it may be front left burner. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Sam! If you are needing the knob you will need to use part number WB03K10051. For the right rear burner valve use part number WB21K21, for the left front and left rear burner valves use part number WB21K20, and for the right front burner valve use part number WB21K12. Hope this helps you determine the part numbers needed. Thanks! Read More...
Tony October 28, 2011 for Model Number JGBP30GEV2WH The oven does not work when you put it to bake. When you put it to broil, it works, as do all of the burners, it is only the oven when its put to bake it doesn't work. What part needs replacing? It is a natural gas stove. Any help would be much appreciated
1 Answer Hello Tony. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve WB19K14. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter WB2X9154 will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
