Will December 20, 2016 for Model Number JGB900SEK4SS I replaced the ignitor for my front right surface burner. It lights up a lot better however, after it lights up a few times or after the top has been used, if it's shut off I still have a hard time lighting it again. I would need to let it cool off or something before it would light. Is this normal? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Will, This is most likely a poor connection electrically between the chassis of the unit and the burner base. The unit will need to be disassembled and sanded between the metal panels where the screws connect the pieces together. This should re-establish ground to the burner base and prevent the issue from occurring again. Read More...
Doug June 16, 2016 for Model Number JGB918SEK4SS Front right burner became slow to spark, had to hit a sweet spot on the dial to get just one click. Now its completely dead. All others are fine. this one gets the most use. I assume its a ignitor part(s) obviously ,but which one(s) do i need to order from your site. Please help me fast track this.
1 Answer Doug, The top burner electrode for your unit will be part number WB13K10014. You should check the ignition switch on the valve for continuity in the light position as the ignition switch sounds more likely to be defective. The switch part number is WB24K10002 which is for 3 of them and WB24K10027. Read More...

1 Answer Thomas, The igniters clicking with the burners in the off position would be caused by a failed ignition switch and you would need to replace the spark switch assembly WB18T10338. Read More...
