Ashok September 30, 2013 for Model Number LG model# LSC27926ST Water tube needs to be replaced from inlet valve to water filter, like to know step by step procedure or it will be helpful if you have diagram of detail assembly, Tubing is cracked at two places.
1 Answer Ashok, To remove the tubing to the water filter, you will first need to pull the unit out and turn off the water. You will then remove the lower cover on the back of the refrigerator to access the water valve. You will disconnect the tubing that runs up to the water filter head by removing the little black or red clip that is between the valve housing and the ring on the valve. Once removed you will push on the ring and at the same time pull on the tubing. You will then remove the cover on the water lines that go into the back of the refrigerator compartment. Open the refrigerator door and take the screw out that holds the filter head assembly in place and slide forward. Once it is out then you can pull the tubing and filter head out. You would remove the tubing the same as you did on the water valve and install the new one by just pushing it straight in. reassemble the unit. Read More...

Jason March 25, 2013 for Model Number GSH25SGPASS In the description of this part (Connector Union Part Number AP3414915) "This plastic quick connecting union is used to join two 5/16 inch x 5/16 inch plastic water lines together for the water dispenser on your refrigerator." I'm looking for the water line that is a part of this freezer door. It exits the base of the freezer door through the hinge. When you remove the door from the rest of the refrigerator it's the clear water line that extends out the base of the door. When reassembling the fridge you have to feed the waterline through the hinge. You then feed it through (GE Slv Watr Lin (Part Number: AP2060593)) and then through this part (Connector Union Part Number AP3414915). Your help is greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Jason, the water line that feeds through the freezer door is not available separate from the freezer door part number WR78X11708. When replacing the door you'll also need template part number WR49X10141. Thanks! Read More...
