Derek Phillips March 31, 2016 for Model Number WHDVH626FWW I searched for a control board with this model number but another model came up, are these compatible? My machine starts to fill with water then goes back and forth a few times and starts to fill again (over and over) sometimes it will unlock the door and be done. Also having trouble putting it in different cycles and temperatures.(the buttons are failing) Is this the part I need?
1 Answer Derek, Yes the main control board WH12X10355 is for your unit and would be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More...
Derek March 30, 2016 for Model Number whdvh626fww Ok this is a front load GE, the problem is every time you try to operate a load there's a problem push buttons on the power, the load size and the temp. Once it does start to fill up it seems to be ok, but after awhile it goes back and forth maybe 5 times when you think it's washing. Then it stops and begin filling up again, sometimes it just stops and the door will unlock. Tried putting it in rinse & spin but the clothes still come out soaked. Is there a code to reset this from happening or what needs replacing? Help...Thanks.
1 Answer Derek, There is no code to reset the unit and it sounds like the main control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is WH12X10355. Read More...
Phillip February 09, 2016 for Model Number WFW9050XW00 Changed the motor control board because it was burnt. But still did not work. Changed the main control board but still did not work. When you hold the start button I hear two beeps but nothing happen. The light are on and the button response but the washer doesn't, thanks.
1 Answer Phillip, This issue would most likely be caused by a user interface issue or a bad door lock assembly. You will want to access the tech sheet inside the unit and try to put the unit into diagnostic mode. If the unit will not go into diagnostics then the user interface will be the issue. Read More...
Dennis February 07, 2016 for Model Number WBVH6240HWW My GE washer fills with water, does not wash, then drains out. Does not spin either. Goes into pause sometimes during cycle. What could this be? What should I check? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Dennis, You should use the service mode on this unit to pull any fault codes. Note that the t01, t02, t03, etc, indicates the sequence of the test you are performing and is not a test result. Also note the fault codes only provides the circuit where there is an issue. As an example, a pump failure can be the pump, the harness, or the control since all are in a common circuit. The service mode is fully explained in the tech sheet normally located in a resealable plastic bag adhered to the inside of the service panel below the door. Read More...
Phillip December 24, 2015 for Model Number WCVH6300J20WW Machine would start door locks drum spins very slow then would pump water out then unlock with time still on the machine, it would never enter the spin cycle just keeps going back and forth very slow and repeat the cycles as mention above, thanks.
1 Answer Phillip, You will want to access the tech sheet inside the unit and run a diagnostic cycle to see if there are any stored error codes. This sounds like it could be a door latch assembly issue but error codes will tell you what the issue is. Read More...
