Stan April 25, 2017 for Model Number wcvh6260fww I'm replacing the control board part number WH12X10355, I've been reading that after replacing the board it has to be programmed. what is the code for my model washer? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Stan, The replacement control board will always enter into test mode t01 on initial power-up. 1. After installing the new control, reconnect power to the washer to power up the control. 2. The new control will now display “ - - - “, which means no model has been selected. 3. Rotate the knob until correct model number is displayed. (Select "2" for model WCVH6260 as per the programming instructions from the manufacturer). 4. Press and hold the Start key for 3 seconds (or until a second “beep” is heard). 5. Press the Power key to reset the control. 6. The washer is now ready for use. If an error is made in programming the control, enter test mode, select t01 and repeat Steps 3-5. Read More...
Michael F March 31, 2017 for Model Number WCVH6260FGG My GE washer would not run and upon running the diagnostic tests, the code was E54, motor issues. I replaced the motor and inverter, then nothing. I then replaced the control board, and now when powered up, no lights come on or anything. After plugging in it will beep once and still no lights. Any button pressed or dial turned only makes it beep. It won't go int test t01 mode or light up at all....?????
1 Answer Michael, With no light coming on then you will want to make sure that all the wire connections are made with no loose or damaged connections. If this checks ok then you may have received a faulty board. Read More...
Loren B March 01, 2017 for Model Number WHDVH626F0WW I replaced the basket and bearings. Now when I turn it on the control panel lights are blinking and the readout is unreadable. It won't go into test mode. The control panel was new and worked perfect before the spider broke. I put the old control panel back on and the readout and lights appear to work properly but the washer is erratic. That was the reason it was replaced . Do you think I need another control panel?
1 Answer Loren, You will want to check the wiring between the control board and the control panel to make sure that the wiring is good. if it is good then the issue will be the control panel. Read More...
Linda K January 13, 2017 for Model Number WHDVH66HB When I wash it will stop and then start several times; then it will not spin to drain water out; then doesn't finish wash cycle. Can I reprogram it or do I need to replace the brain on it? Also noticed it is leaking into the drawer under the washer. HELP!
1 Answer Linda, The unit would not be able to be reprogrammed and would need to be replaced. You will want to check other things like a possible door lock or the spider being broken and not allowing to go into the spin cycle. Check the bottom of the tub for leaking. Read More...
Stefanie November 18, 2016 Sorry at work don't have the model number, but was just told by a repair man that my leaky pump shorted out the control board. Can this happen? The board is higher than the pump.

Bangbang June 13, 2016 for Model Number WBVH6240HWW I recently changed out my board due to the unit not working properly (if you pressed the soil level button the spin speed or wash temperature would move). Now those all work like they are suppose to but now when I select drain and spin it fills with water (the complete opposite of what it is supposed to do. Is the new board bad?
1 Answer Hello Bangbang, The control on this unit requires programming. To do this, the tech sheet says: • The replacement control board will always enter into test mode t01 on initial power-up. • If replacing the control board, the washer will not function until the replacement control board has been programmed. To program the replacement control board: 1. Reconnect power to the washer. (The display will now show “---”, which means no model has been selected). 2. Rotate the cycle knob until the correct model number is displayed: Select 1 for models WHDVH626, WHDVH660, GHDVH626 and GHDVH670. Select 2 for model WCVH6260. Select 3 for model WBVH6240. Select 4 for models WCVH6600, GCVH6260 and GCVH6600 3. Press and hold the Start key for 3 seconds (or until a second beep is sounded). 4. Press the Power key to reset the control. Note: If an error is made in programming the control, enter test mode and select t01. Then repeat steps 2 through 4. If this does no good you should pull the tech sheet and run the diagnostics to see if there are any stored codes. Read More...
