Karl January 26, 2012 for Model Number wjsr2070b2ww I have purchased this part and my washer is still just spinnin but not engageing. What else could it be? Did I maybe not put it back together correctly? Please help.
1 Answer Hello Karl. You will need to turn the large pulley by hand and see if the tub engages. If not, you will need to replace the transmission and brake assembly WH38X10002. If it does engage, you will need to install the belt WH1X2026 where it has enough tension to turn the pulley. Hope this helps. Read More...
Rowe33 December 29, 2011 for Model Number WCRE6270D0WW My washer will drain the water, but will not spin. Was thinking it was the agitator coupler; however, I cannot spin it by hand either. Does this mean it is probably the clutchles motor? Or could it be something else? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Rowe33. Check and see if the belt WH1X2026 is broke or bad. If not, and there is power to the motor, you will need to replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Kylene August 16, 2011 for Model Number wvsr1060a1ww My washer runs through every cycle, but won't agitate?(back and forth)or spin. I'm thinking a belt is what turns it back and forth and spin. I haven't took the back off yet, is this a really big job? All your help will be greatly appreciated. I really can't afford a new one. Thanks Kylene. Thanks Kylene
1 Answer Hi Kylene. The belt is part # WH1X2026. It is a non-adjustable belt. There is a belt install tool part # is WX05X20641. This will assist greatly. Remove all power. Remove front panel. In the belt kit there are instructions that assist you. Thank you. Read More...

Jayyo July 08, 2011 for Model Number whdsr417d0ww Hi, my washer does not spin, let alone, wont drain? What do I do to fix it. Which part is needed would you say? If you have a part, please provide a part #. Thanks!
1 Answer Hi JayYo. Yes it sounds like you might just need a belt. Check to see if you dont have any clothes stuck in between your inner and outer basket's. Does the timer and motor at least hum,to show they want to work? Is there anything stuck in your pump propeller ,stopping it from turning? hope this helps. The drive belt part # is WH1X2026.
